i have recently found out that you can buy airline lounge day passes on eBay and receive reimbursements from skyguide executive privilege club if you submit “properly documented receipts.”

this is advantageous because all day passes for major carriers are going up to $59. skyguide only reimburses $50. and you can often score day passes on eBay for $50 or less!

however, i’m not a big eBay or paypal guy.

any of you have experience with paypal receipts for eBay purchases? specifically, will it indicate WHAT exactly you purchased? e.g. will it say something like “delta sky club day pass…$46”?

I dont think it’s worth it – It looks like skyguide charges a monthly fee. you’d have to be paying for lounges quote a bit for it to be worth it. However, if youre paying for lounges like that, it might just be smarter to pickup the Amex Platinum card or CitiPrestige card that gives you access to Priority Pass. With the former, no guests are allowed but you also have access to the excellent Centurion Lounges as well as Delta SkyClubs if youre flying Delta. With the latter, youre allowed 2 guests and AAdmirals Club access when flying American. Also, if youre flying that much to make skyguide’s monthly fees and reimbursements worth it, you’d probably have some level of elite status and may be eligible for upgrades or club access.

In my experience, it only shows the seller’s name. However, I usually get an invoice from the seller with more details
