SAS Voucher

SAS Voucher

  1. Diana Grunde New Member

I received a SAS voucher when my trip was cancelled in March 2020 due to Covid. We were scheduled to fly on March 29. The voucher says it is valid till 2021-05-01. I assumed that means May 1, 2021.
I do not think that Norway will lift it’s travel restrictions by then either. I can not seem to reach anyone at SAS but does anyone think they will extend their vouchers further ?
I would appreciate any information or thoughts on this situation.
    Thank you

On the surface, it does not appear so (but…see below). It looks like your voucher validity is limited to what is printed on it. SAS’s website is fairly consistent about the validity period.

*HOWEVER*… (and these days, there is always a however, given the world’s travel restrictions)

Also per the SAS website – you voucher is REFUNDABLE after 12 months. On the link below, expand the “If your flight is cancelled” section, then expand the “Refund Options”. Finally, look at the third line down under SAS travel voucher.

This link, sadly, is buried 2/3 the way down of a page that takes at least two clicks to get to, so its easy to miss. So you may not be able to extend your voucher, but you should at least be able to get your money back.

    Hope this helps.
