Hello Community: I have a flight MIA MXP for the big Salone del Mobile design fair which is a mega event in Milan in mid-April. The Salone changed the date from April (which is the norm) to June. My hotel (DesignHotels) was super cool to waive my cancellation.
AA will be charging $150 (min) for the change on any new ticket. Can anyone chime in to me when/if AA waives that charge? I am EXP on AA but may have pushed my “eagle points”…. as I called them and they said “$150 sir, plus new reservation charges possible”.
I see today that JetBlue is waiving cancellation charges due to C-Virus scare. TY

Update: Design Hotels now wants to rebook us for the new June dates in the hopes that the C Virus will be contained by then. Rather upset they changed their tune. I suppose they will be losing huge amount of revenue as things get more chaotic.

And AA has simply canceled my flight. I need to wait before the April 17 departure and then call- as things change day by day. For China, they did a Full Refund and this may happen or may be a simple waive of any fees for new flight in the next 12 months.
