Reserved Seats on Code Share Flight

    Hello,

I recently booked a flight from the US to Germany through Air Canada. I was able to select seats for 3 of the 4 legs. For the one I wasn’t the leg of the trip was being operated by Luftansa. Any guidance on how to reserve my seat on that airline given I booked the ticket through Air Canada? I’m traveling with another party and we’d prefer to sit together.

    Thanks.

Call Air Canada, and see if they have a separate confirmation number for the Lufthansa leg. Get it and then use that to look up your itinerary on Lufthansa’s website to get seats.

Or, you can probably just call Lufthansa directly and have them look up your itinerary and select seats. It’s also possible that your ticket may not allow advance seat selection on Lufthansa.
