Renewing passport. Do my visa’s transfer?

Renewing passport. Do my visa’s transfer?

So I just realized my passport expires early next year and seeing as I’m travelling over the holidays I should probably get that renewed now.

I currently have 10 year visas for Brazil and China in my current passport. My question is, how do I get those transferred over to the new one? Do I just keep my old passport and travel with both? I tried calling the passport agency and the lady was… less than helpful.

Can anyone who’s been through this shed some light on the subject?

Haven’t been through it but I’m pretty sure you just bring both your old and new passports and you’ll be fine.

You do not have to. You will have to carry both the passports.

Well that’s going to be annoying. :p

    Thanks for the heads up.

Well, the alternative would be to get every visa again on your new passport so I’d consider that a small price to pay 🙂
