what’s the best way to get upgraded to premium Econ using points? I’m flying USA to Aus and have various points with multiple sources (sapphire, Amex, virgin) but airlines don’t post how to upgrade with points. Thanks guys!

I don’t believe AA offers upgrades to premium economy with miles – though you can upgrade directly from economy to business on AA.

On Delta you can upgrade to premium economy using SkyMiles:

    Not sure about Qantas.

And not all fare classes are upgradeable. You usually have to buy one of the more expensive fare classes to be able to upgrade.

Yep, in almost all cases you’re going to be better off redeeming for business class compared to upgrading!
