redeeming miles for international flights
Hello Lucky,
I’m trying to find how many miles are needed to book a flight from Boston, MA to Jerusalem, Israel for two people, ages 33 and 68 in November for @ 2-3 weeks, times and dates flexible. My advantage number is [ ] and I currently have 116,482 miles. Does AA fly to Jerusalem or are their partner airlines which do? Please let me know the approximate number of miles per person, leaving anytime, economy, cheapest possible flights. What months are cheapest in flight points? THANKS! Martha Pirkle
Hi Martha,
You’d need 80,000 mile per person for the roundtrip economy flights to Tel Aviv. American doesn’t fly to Israel, but their partner airlines do. You’ll want to avoid flights on British Airways, as the taxes and fees negate the benefit of using miles.
