    Greetings. I have a question that I hope someone might have the answer for because I’m not having any luck with either Citibank or Hilton.

    I am interested in the Hilton Honors Reserve Visa which offers two (2) free weekend night certificates as a sign-up bonus. According to the fine print, it says the certificates are “…valid for twelve (12) months after the date of issuance, as noted on the certificate. You must follow all terms stated on the certificate when redeeming or the certificate may not be honored.”

    My question is must I:

    1) Both redeem AND stay the nights within the 12 month period, or
    2) Must I simply redeem them within 12 months for a stay even if – for example – the redemption is for a stay 6 months after the expiration date.

    Again, I am not having much luck getting an answer on this so I was hoping the OMAAT crew might be able to help. Does anyone have a certificate that can forward the terms on the cert, or has someone actually redeemed these? Just looking for some info so I know when I need to sign up for the card relative to the trip I want to use them for. Thanks!
