I posted earlier about AA deval 2 award changing the date. I made a mistake the flight would be for Feb 20, 2017. So using the 1 year from travel date that I should be able to book it before March of this year that would be the one year. I guess my main question is would they let me possibly change the 2 award QR ticket with the same origin/destination to possibly a CX for the original pre-deval mileage? Or would you say just book the CX 1 award to be on the safe side?

I would just book it as a single award, personally. I think having two awards is almost guaranteed to force a reprice.
