    I’m looking to fly AKL-LAX in business class

    My choices are

    VA 737-800 to BNE/SYD and then 777-300 to LAX
    KE 747-400 to ICN and then A380-800 to LAX

    Which would you chose? I want the best experience (hard and soft product) for my hard earned miles! The KE flights add roughly 5 hours to the journey.

    @ Deborah — Hmmm, I’d probably just do Virgin Australia. The hard product is at least as good, and it’s more direct. Also think service on Virgin Australia has a slight edge.
