Question 1426

    Hey Lucky,

Do you know if SQ allows you to change your award flights if travel has already started?
I’m currently flying MNL-SIN-ZRH-FRA-JFK, SQ all the way except for the intra-europe leg.
Was thinking of maybe switching FRA-JFK to LH, but as you know they are very stingy with award space, specially on that route, so would likely have to wait until the day before the flight.
Also, what’s your opinion? Would you rather fly SQ or LH on that route? I think SQ is better overall but given I already have 2 SQ F legs (1 in suites, 1 on the 77W), having some variety and FCT access seems appealing.

@ acs — In theory I’d certainly mix it up if you already have two Singapore sectors on that route. That being said — and I could be mistaken — I don’t think they’ll let you switch airlines on a one way if travel has already commenced. I could be wrong, though.
