Question 1219

    Hi Lucky,
questions about fuel surcharge using USAirways mileage,
    1. currently levy on BA and Iberia flights, right?
    2. is there fuel surcharge booking AA flights? ITA Matrix showing YR charge on pure AA flight too. e.g. JFK-MAD.
    3. is surcharge the same for a short BA flight (part of a long haul international flight) and for a mainly BA long haul flight? would flight distance make difference?
    thanks.

    1) Yes.
    2) No, just for BA and IB.
    3) No, it’s different depending on the market. So you’d pay a lot more for a longhaul than a shorthaul.
