3 requests with pointspros – 3 strike outs before searching for availability has even begun. has anyone actually been able to use the award booking service?
@ andrew — Sorry for your disappointment. Looking at your past requests, the point was:
— We can’t tie up our Avios to hold Qantas first class space until American opens up space. Ultimately we provide consulting services, and once we start using our miles it gets very much into mileage brokering, which we don’t do. Hopefully you can appreciate that.
— Regarding Emirates first class space using Alaska miles, that space isn’t bookable for travel after March 28. I’ve explained how to request a long sell on the blog, but we’re not going to make a business of trying to help people “trick” agents in exchange for a consulting fee. At the end of the day we act in good faith with the airlines in the services we provide, since ultimately we’re playing at their game. Hopefully you can appreciate that as well.
Those are the only two requests I see. So while we’d love to help, I hope that sheds a bit of light into why we can’t. Sorry if that wasn’t communicated clearly. We’d love the opportunity to help you with a request we can help with soon!
