Qantas web site

Wow I give AA a lot of grief for all their glitches and how every time you go back the date of your search resets to the current date but Qantas is pretty bad. My first time using it.

First, you cant see seats on a seat map unless you book the ticket, unless I missed it. Obviously on the Big 3 you can see the seat map at ease

Next, what a pathetic seat map. Once ticketed i put in the Qantas record locator to assign a seat and its just a line of 7 little squares to show the seats for Business. I had to go to Seat Guru to find out if their staggered set up is Even or Odd rows as the true window seat. Absolutely no way to tell on their seat map .

Row 6 and 7 are behind L2 but yet the seat map makes it appear all in the forward cabin. If you took 6 or 7 you would certainly not be expecting to have every person walk past you on boarding.

I dont get how such a top notch well regarded airline can have such a bad seat map. United and Delta clearly show the configs of Polaris and Delta One. For some reason with Delta the app doesnt show the detail of the config but the web site does. United is great on both app & site. I guess AA just does show squares with out really showing you much nearly everything on their fleet for Business now Reverse herringbone so there is no needing to know which row is truly window and which isnt, it doesnt apply.

Found Qantas site to be a joke. However i just spent over 2 hours dealing with AA BS on the phone so maybe I am just mad about that.
