    Hi all, looking for some advice! My parents in law had a qantas award Flight from Hong Kong to shanghai to Chicago yesterday on China eastern. Booked as a qantas award.

    The hkg to shanghai leg was delayed so they missed the big flight.

    Qantas has put them on the next available China eastern Flight in two days!!! Even though American has 5 revenue seats available on the non stop flight that day. They said to go American they had to pay more points?!?

    What the??? Anybody have experience or advice here when I ring qantas other than blasting them?!
