    Hi. I moved to Australia a few years ago and quickly became a Platinum flyer, which I’ve maintained every year since. I’m trying to make sense of the Qantas boarding procedure and hoping you can explain it to me. They have two lanes just like basically every airline – one for Priority boarding, one for regular boarding. They don’t do zones, so the lines for each lane can be massive. The weird thing that needs explaining: they board both lanes at the same time. So the Priority folks that aren’t in the front of the line are boarding well after the regular line. It is a smack in the face to their most valued flyers

    Thanks for the note back. Yes, I read that last year too. I’ve flown multiple domestics flights since it was published. Other than the fancy sign they talk about – there’s absolutely zero change to how they do it.
