    i fly san francisco /palm springs 20 times a year
    im AA Plat/Life so in the past i used AA number to book on ALASKA AIR
    1. which card should i use…AmEx Plat/Alaska Air visa/ CITI AAdvanage Elite Mastercard
    2. should I book miles to AA number or Alaska number

    1. You should book with whatever card gives you the best return on flights. Usually that’s going to be the AmEx Gold, Citi Premier, or Citi Prestige. Lacking those you could use the card for the airline you’re booking with. If you are booking through AA you could use the AA card or if you are booking directly with AS, use the AS card.
    2. Only you can decide that. I would look at mileage earning rates for both programs for your fare class and your need for miles and decide accordingly.
