Pricing Iberia Avios Awards

Hi All,

I recently received my 90,000 Avios from the promotion and have begun looking for flights. However, the website refuses to price out trips that are not exclusively flown on Iberia metal. BA, Qatar, American, etc. will not allow me to see the number of miles required. I just get an error message. Anyone have any tips/tricks besides calling Iberia?

I recently received my 90,000 Iberia Avios from the promotion. However, when I go on the Iberia website to try and book tickets, it will not price out any trip that isn’t exclusively operated on Iberia metal. It gives an error message if any partner operates a segment. Happens for BA, QR, American, etc. Any work-arounds or solutions other than calling them? Id like to explore pricing and availability online.

Correct. Event when I do that it still is coming up as error. It lets me select my flights but when I go to “view price” it comes back with an error message.

Hi Jordan, I transferred 66,000 miles into my Iberia account to try the discounted business class award from Ord to Mad return a few months ago. Unfort I had to cancel. After 2.5 months I finally got my points back…. unfort I’ve found it impossible to ever book a flight again on Iberia (or AA for that matter).

Availability and execution is extremely frustrating. In comparison I find lifemiles MUCH easier to deal with.
