    example itinerary

Atl to chicago arriving at 7pm in economy (and then 17 hour overnight layover)
Chicago to tokyo in United Polaris at 10am, following morning.

Would i be able to use the polaris lounge when i land in chicago or will they tell me its not a “same day boarding pass”
i thought i read something about “access within 24 hours of departure”.

reason being i want to try out the lunch ala carte menu

    Thanks

You should be able to, as it is within 24 hours of departure.

Just be aware that a la carte dining ends at 830pm, and the lounge itself closes at 9pm.
