Some time ago, I transferred 10,000 Hawaiian airline miles to Hilton, and after a short delay, I was awarded 15,000 miles in the Hilton program. As we had no future plans to fly Hawaiian, and in order to take advantage of the favorable transfer rate, my wife paid Hawaiian $125.00 to transfer 10,000 miles from her Hawaiian account to mine so I could then transfer those miles to my Hilton account. After 2 months nothing happened. I called Hilton and they said they never saw there second transfer. I spoke with Hawaiian and they said they received the money, they transferred the miles and as far as they were concerned, the transaction was complete. So we are out the money and have lost the miles. Any suggestions on how to resolve this situation would be gratefully appreciated.
