Hi Ben ,

First, I wanted to thank you for your blog, the writing is great and it’s fun to read regardless of whether or not I can actually follow it through.

My question is this, I’m from Israel, we don’t have the same credit system and there aren’t many ways (that I know of) to gain miles and points, did you write anything about it? Is it even possible for me to do anything like you’re suggesting ?

Thanks
Omer

Hi @Omer behar, and welcome!

You can leverage lots of the techniques that Ben writes about, especially promos, sales, and learning how to value miles. Obviously the info on U.S. credit cards won’t apply to you, but you can see tips for choosing the best card in your region here: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2015/07/30/choose-credit-card-outside-us/

@Tiffany I think it would be be a good idea to make that post more easily accessible in the form of a sticky forum topic or as part of the Beginners Guide.
