ORD next Delta Focus City?

ORD next Delta Focus City?

  1. Anonymous Guest

Wondering if anyone knows what delta has in the works for 2021. I’m a frequent flyer out of ord via delta and I noticed their big ad for the 22,000 square foot delta lounge coming to the new terminal 5 in 2021. If I recall SEA’s newer sky club in the main terminal is around that square footage. Seems like overkill for the amount of flights they are currently offering, although I hear that all SkyTeams flights will operate from T5, so maybe that’s why. Or could Chicago be an upcoming focus city?

Could be an inkling of things to come with a focus city… but I also feel like Delta does a really good job with marketing their SkyClubs as a way to differentiate themselves from the competition. Obviously they don’t have Flagship Lounges or Polaris Lounges with restrictive entry policies, so it could just be their way of investing in Chicago…
