New Star Alliance FF Account – Best Option?

New Star Alliance FF Account – Best Option?

  1. TonyPVR New Member

I previously had just about everything on AA/One World but since we moved to Mexico both Star Alliance & Sky Team are the dominate ones by far for best schedules, etc. for Europe.

I’m going to be booking Lufthansa MEX/FCO/MEX lowest available business and wanted to know if the miles earned would be more valuable crediting to United vs. Lufthansa (or any other SA member) for both future earning and redemption – I currently don’t have an account with any SA carrier. It looks like LH might be the best option but I’m not certain.

Thanks very much for any input/suggestions!

    Tony

Welcome @TonyPVR – it depends on your booking class. Check http://www.wheretocredit.com/ and it will tell you what your earnings will be, depending on which FF program you choose.
