As of July 12, 2021 Qatar has a new travel policy for tourists entering the country
https://covid19.moph.gov.qa/EN/travel-and-return-policy/Pages/default.aspx
But, Item #10 indicates that the proof of Covid test also applies to those transiting through Hammad. I will have a regular PCR test to show them since we will be going to South Africa (Qatar Air) and they require one. But returning, we will have the quick 30 minute antigen test since the US will accept that.
First, am I misunderstanding Qatar’s new policy for transit and 2nd will Qatar accept my antigen test?
Thanks.
I just saw on today’s Loyalty Lobby travel blog that item #10 has now been officially removed so the “transit PCR test” is not required. Must have been a screw up in the original release.
