seat 12B New MemberWhat is the current rules for booking new AA awards if I cancel the trip? Can the miles be redeposited with no fee? I’ve call AAdvantage desk 3 times in the last few days and got 3 different answers.

If you cancel an award flight, you will pay a redeposit fee. If AA cancels your award flight, the fee is waived. Award flights are excluded from the change fee waiver for new bookings in effect right now.
