Returning from Oktoberfest have 3 options MUC – BOS with a stop. trying to figure out which is best.

via LHR BA to LHR 4k chase(transferred) +$28 + 10k VS + $263 in economy.

via DUB FR to DUB $110 + 13k chase (transferred) EI +$150 in economy

via BCN LH to BCN $110 + 5100 chase (transferred) IB + $300 in premium economy

Thanks very much!

Welcome @Andrew Clark – Personally I try to avoid LHR whenever I can, but that’s me.

Are you going carry-only? Otherwise I think on the ticket via BCN you’d have to claim and re-check your bag, right? Changing from LH to IB?

If that’s the case I’d do the Aer Lingus flight to avoid LHR and to keep from having to deal with the whole security thing again.

Andrew, just clarifying.

First option is around $300 + 14,000 points in Economy
Second option is $260 +13,000 points in Economy
Third option is $410 + 5,000 points in [B][I]Premium Economy

I’ve flown American, British, Air France and Alitalia transatlantic in Premium Economy. While you won’t be blown away (and I’ve admittedly never flown Iberia), I’d argue each one is well worth the $100 more in cash and 7k-8k less in points.

If it makes a difference, the BCN-BOS flight is LEVEL operated by Iberia. It’s not super clear if their premium economy is on par with others, specifically in the “are the drinks free” category.

Seems like they are included:
