Need 100000 Marriott Rewards points by June 30th

Need 100000 Marriott Rewards points by June 30th

I’m a mom from Aurora, Ontario, Canada with a reservation at the beautiful JW Marriott, Muskoka July this year. The cost of our 4 day stay is aprox $1400- CDN (not incl meals). If I can acquire 100k of Marriott Rewards points, in addition to 30k bonus with a Marriott credit card and current points, our room rate can be reduced to 150-CDN per night incl resort fee.
Does anyone have suggestions on how I can acquire that many points?

I’ve asked Marriott if they would status match my SPG Gold status in efforts to reaching my goal and here is the answer: Thank you for contacting Marriott Rewards regarding our Elite status levels.

Marriott Rewards does not generally offer status matches or the opportunity to bypass the normal requirements of achieving our Elite membership levels. As a courtesy based on your current Elite level and stay history with Marriott Rewards, I’m happy to offer you a Silver Elite Status challenge. This challenge would give you the opportunity to achieve the Silver Elite status by completing three separate paid stays during a three month challenge period. The challenge will begin the date that you are registered for this offer and end August 31, 2016. Marriott Rewards members can participate in one Elite Status challenge in a 12-month period. I’m sorry that we’re not able to offer a challenge for an Elite status that is more than one level above your current Elite status.

After you have completed the three paid stays, your account will be upgraded to Silver through January 2018. If you are not able to complete the required stays during the challenge, your account will remain at your current Elite level. You will need to earn the qualifying number of Elite nights during 2017 in order to maintain this status for all of 2018. As a reminder, members need 10 Elite nights to achieve the Silver Elite level, 50 Elite nights for the Gold Elite level, and 75 Elite nights for the Platinum Elite level.

For this offer and many of our promotions, a stay is considered all consecutive nights you personally stay at a participating hotel.

There’s a Canadian Chase Marriott Rewards credit card. Have you looked into that? Current offer is 30k after your first purchase. If you get the card and try to complete the challenge it’ll get you more points, especially if you pay with the Chase Marriott card. Your spouse can also apply for the card and then transfer points over for $10, according to their T&Cs

I found an ad for 50k with a Canadian reference. Took a screen shot of it. Not sure if we will apply since I’ll need to find 70k in points somehow else.
