MS Bluebird problem

MS Bluebird problem

  1. Nadroj New Member

I have a bluebird account…got some Vanillaone cards at CVS (not vanillareloads) and was not able to load them onto BB at WalMart. Went to get a money order, and they were not able to run them as debit, only credit(which does not work). What should I try to do differently. Currently have 2 $500 cards.

    Thanks in advance.

@Nadroj, One Vanilla visa cards are not load-able at WalMart in more than 49.99 increments.

First I would check if this has not happened to you: http://frequentmiler.boardingarea.com/2016/01/08/amex-kills-bluebird-and-serve-for-manufactured-spend/

Second: I would check here: http://frequentmiler.boardingarea.com/2016/01/08/liquidate-visa-and-mastercard-gift-cards/

    Good luck.

This is my first time ever using my bluebird card, so I am sure I have not been locked out as stated in that post. Should I have to register the cards online first in order to assign a PIN number or something like that?

    Lucky you :).

OV cards do not need online pin assignments. You can pick any four digit code the first time a pin is requested. They are not a good choice to load BB at Walmart unless you have one with a kiosk where you can self load 10 49.99 loads without annoying a cashier.
