Moving to London — which points program to join?

Moving to London — which points program to join?

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hi all, would love your advice on the following.

I am moving to London shortly and trying to figure out which alliance to join. I am based in Asia currently and fly Cathay Pacific. When I go back to the U.S. a few times a year I fly CX there and Delta within the country. I have gold status on Cathay/sapphire status on Oneworld that will come to an end later this year.

Within Europe, I imagine I’ll be relying mostly on easyjet/ryanair for quick flights. So my main focus is using points getting back to the east coast (typically New York and Miami) several times a year and when I fly to Asia, which is likely to be once a year. I also fly Delta once a year to Canada.

I’ve been looking at Virgin Atlantic, but also considering staying with oneworld. Would love any and thoughts.
    Thanks! JABS
