Hi, have a little over 300,000 AA miles and am wanting to find the cheapest flight to Europe that I can but economy ticket and have a REALLY good, almost guaranteed opportunity to use miles to bump up to business. I’m wanting to be I Germany, Greece and Spain but if I can fly into London, etc. and fly something like Ryan Air to where I want to be or just spend a couple days to get acclimated then on to one of my destinations, thats ok. Basically just wanting to hop around and see some more sites the cheapest way not in economy going across the pond. Any suggestions?

hi @AAAll The Way, you can find the rates for upgrading AA flights with miles at: https://www.aa.com/i18n/aadvantage-program/miles/redeem/award-travel/upgrade-with-miles.jsp. There is no way to guarantee an upgrade unless you are able to find confirmable upgrade space at booking (C fare bucket on AA) and then confirm by booking over the phone at the same time as making your reservation. You’ll pay the cost of your economy ticket plus 25,000 miles plus $350. If you are not averse to paying a high cash co-pay you can just book a BA flight for 57,500 miles plus taxes and fees.
