Mosaic Status Challenge Question
JetBlue is having a Mosaic status challenge. In order to get status through 2018, one needs to earn 3750 points. Travel and Leisure (see below) states it can be earned through a variety of non flying ways (including transfer from Amex). However, the small print from Jet Blue appears it can only be earned by flying JetBlue. Can you help?
”With the challenge, new Mosaic members will have 90 days to earn 3,750 base flight points (by spending $1,250 on JetBlue flights) and have their new status extended through 2018. Travelers can also buy True Blue points, use a JetBlue credit card or shop with select partners to meet the 3,750 point minimum.”
Ben covered this topic in this post: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2017/07/14/jetblue-status-match-2017/ though he doesn’t mention transferring points from Amex. He also doesn’t mention the shopping aspect though if you got it from the JB website I’m sure it’s fine. I suspect T+L is just mistaken.
