Marriott to Avios

Marriott to Avios

I heard someone talking about the bonus 35% Avios is currently offering and was wondering about transferring Marriott points to it I currently have Zero Avios miles. They said Marriott points were worth about 0.07 cents. Marriott offers a level 1 to 5 hotel/air package for 270,000 points. I understand Avios offers something similar and are their points are worth about 1.5 cents a point So if I moved marriott points to BA what would 240,000 Avios points get me compared to Marriott and what hotel change would the avios points be able to be used at? I know nothing about Avios as I have considered BA a rip off due to all their extra fares.

I cant find anything on a Hotel+Air package for Avios so I wont discuss that.

Basically 270k Marriot points redeemed for the Flight&Hotel package will get you 7 nights in any Marriott Caregory 1-5 hotel, plus 162k Avios, after factoring in the transfer bonus.

BA Avios are best for short haul awards but there are some good long haul redemptions without the hefty fuel surcharges. Check out this post:
