Marriott Platinum Emeritus/Lifetime x 2

Marriott Platinum Emeritus/Lifetime x 2

I was pretty happy when I achieved Marriott Platinum Emeritus status – then saw it drop from it’s original lofty goal to 750, and the simplification of the name to Lifetime.

Today I see I’m at 1602 nights, still early career and before my hundreds of SPG nights move over (and the ton of nights at Hilton, and of course that single depressing night at Best Western in Iowa)

My question is this: now that I’m 2x Lifetime Status based on the current criteria, can I request – nay demand – that Marriott find it’s way to replace my plastic Platinum Lifetime card with a metal one? Oh, and one of those lamps with a plug in it. I’m sure everyone has this problem when at home – I have no idea how to charge my phone when back home since my lamp has no such plug, which is why I keep flying off to stay in a hotel to re-charge my electronics.
