If I am booking a multiple room long-term stay (3 weeks+) at a Marriott property, am I better off booking them both under my Platinum status and only receiving the elite nights for one of the rooms and points for both, or should I book one under my Platinum status and the other under my family member’s Gold status in order to receive the elite nights on both rooms but on separate accounts?

I guess it depends if you value the benefits of the elite status more for the long stay, or value maintaining your status (where you’d need the elite nights).

I’d probably take the chance to bolster another account with nights/points.
