Looking for availability on Maroc in Business (for an Etihad Miles booking). Etihad phone rep saw nothing on my date (for six months from now) but said their partners usually release award slots within three months of the flight date. Does that match up with anyones experience?
I’ve heard the Maroc availability is great… but there website is decidedly NOT great.

Can’t talk about availability thru EY, but a few weeks ago I called IB to ask about availability on September from MAD-GRU via CMN and back. There was availability on both Y and J, so in theory there should be availability (though I don’t know whether they give all partners equal access). Did you HUCA?

Yes, I’ve tried 3 times this weekend. I read the FT thread as well and tried that, to no avail.
Whats frustrating is theres no easy way to tell if I’m dealing with incompetent agent or there isnt availability on my dates, since this isnt searchable on Etihad or Experflyer and the coding that powers Maroc’s website is from 1994.

Most of the dates I search (on different browsers, different computers) I see “25,000 miles needed” for Economy but nothing for Business. To be clear, I’m not seeing “no fare” like the picture Ben posted on the link Tiffany shared, but theres nothing shown at all, just economy.
Wondering if this is the website being lame or if theyve changed what the interface shows when availability isnt there (compared to June when Ben wrote that post).
You ever get this figured out? Running into similar issues myself right now. One way from CMN to JFK for this October. Tried two agents, said none available. Second time she took my information so presumably wasn’t building a dummy reservation. She was seeing economy availability.
Can’t get their website to work, either, to show anything (error when searching). When searching for a paid seat, the seat map in business shows it being wide open – no seats sold.
This is their new 787-9, too. Maybe they’re limiting availability on the newer plane with better hard product?
Got their website to work in incognito mode in Chrome. Guess something was cacheing weird in my normal browser.
However, the search from CMN to JFK didn’t show anything business – not miles needed nor “no fare.” (See Attached Image)
Tried CMN to DOH and it was there.
Any idea why it wouldn’t show in the JFK flight yet it will on others, and when you can buy tickets on the same JFK flight without a problem?
