Lounge Access YVR
Hi all,
Flying YVR to DFW next week in paid business class on AA. No elite status. Would we be able to access any lounges at YVR prior to our flight? Trying to decipher the OneWorld rules and seem a bit confusing. Thanks for your help!
Hello John.
Sadly you don’t have access to any lounges due to flying J on AA
From AA website:

“Lounge access is not available if you’re traveling on American Airlines solely within the United States or between the United States and the Caribbean, Canada, or Mexico (except Mexico City).”
You best bet would be a lounge with paid access at the door or passes purchased in advance, unless you have a credit card that include lounge access?
The Plaza Premium comes to mind.

I know there is a Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge in the trans-border terminal which was very very good for a domestic flight. ( I accessed it on UA YVR-ORD in First as UA just doesn’t allow lounge access on U.S. flights instead of all of North America like AA) Very comfortable, food options, drink options, you could probably pay to access
