Lounge Access in JFK

Lounge Access in JFK

  1. Anonymous Guest

I am currently in the middle of planning a trip using miles through AUH. I was planning on booking on Etihad using AA miles and flying business or first from AUH to JFK and then onto the final destination in the US on American Airlines. Would I have access to any of the lounges in JFK upon arrival? It is ~5 hour layover. I am AA EXP and also have Amex Plat/Priority Pass.

    Thanks

EY flies into JFK T4 as a domestic flight since you’ll clear US Immigration before boarding at AUH. When you get off the plane at JFK, you empty out into the gate waiting area for boarding so technically you can go to the Wingtips lounge and access it via Priority Pass, assuming they either accept your EY boarding pass or your onward boarding pass. Im not sure you would get lounge access in Terminal 8 before your flight on American since it’s a domestic flight, unless you had the Citi Prestige/AA Exec cards.
