What is the best way to book airline using lifemiles?
i am trying to book business class from Los Angeles to Vienna Oct 23rd, I have a couple of days -.
I must be there no later than Oct 24 but can leave earlier.
Life miles only shows economy tickets. United does show business class Seats on United to London and then on Austrian to Vienna. They don’t show any seats on Austrian Non stop.
I did find some info that Austrian only releases award space 3 months in advance but that is from 2013 and i am sure if that is still the case.
Any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like you are searching the best ways! Unfortunately, you just need the space to be there.

Austrian is typically very good at releasing award seats very close to departure that would have gone unsold (I did this personally in December – booked 1 week before my flight). If you want the back-up plan of having a confirmed flight now, I’d book the connection via London.

Thank you Ricky. Lifemiles web page does not show the united Option through London, if I want to book that will they be able to do so if I call them and give them all of the flight info or if they dont see it on their page I am out of luck?

Lifemiles call centers don’t have the best reputation but might be worth a shot, especially if you are fluent in Spanish.
