LHR T5 Question

LHR T5 Question

If incoming flight from CPH arrives at the C gates of T5 and LHR to LAX flight is also from the C gates do you still go through security? Its one ticket CPH to LAX but i know i have read on here before about looking for Flight Connections and then going through some security but just noticed that the CPH flight seems to be arriving in C and the last couple days the flight i am on to Lax was in C also…… I think i have to follow Flight connections and go through security no matter what the gate situation is?

Also, is there an easier way to find the Concorde room? I have only been once and got thoroughly lost trying to find it.. Hoping that wont happen this time..

And lastly what is the farthest possible walk time from Concord to Room to the worst possible gate within T5?

    Thank you in advance 🙂

Security is still required, even if you’re arriving and departing from T5C.

Have you looked at a map of T5C? Might help get you get an idea of the layout of the terminal and where the Concorde Room is located. I always do this and it helps me.

Recently did the T5 shuffle. Went pretty smoothly for me coming in from T3, connecting with my in-laws and wife in tow. T5 to T5 should be absolutely fine – as you say, just follow the signs for Flight Connections. Now, as to which gate is the furthest out, lets take a look at the terminal map…

Gates C52-C66 are listed as being 20 minutes from the “core” of T5. My take, from the worst gate to the Concorde Room, you could get there in 30 minutes or less, depending on how fast you walk and how crowded the terminal is.

    Safe journey!
