LHR Lounge Access- BA F to EY First

LHR Lounge Access- BA F to EY First

I have a long layover in LHR after a flight in on BA First. I am leaving a while later in EY First. Will I get to spend some time in the Concorde Room before going over to EY’s terminal? Since the BA flight will be going into T5 and EY is T4.

    Thanks!

You won’t practically be able to (they aren’t likely to let you in to the departures area of T5 without a boarding pass for that terminal), but the Etihad lounge is nice!

@Tiffany Thanks for the response. I figured this was the case but the layover is too long for one lounge but not long enough to go into the city.

I was a T5 newbie earlier this year and I want to emphasize what Tiffany said. When you are connecting at T5 you have to head all the way into the basement of the main terminal (even when you land at the far end of one of the satellite concourses), up several ling escalators and then clear security just to get into the terminal. I had no idea that was the case and it’s something everyone should appreciate.

On the other hand I don’t think you will miss much of the Concorde Room. I was a bit disappointed — it looked a tad worn and the there was no open buffet. Yes there was a nice restaurant with an acceptable menu but I would have preferred the sumptuous buffets that Lucky keeps sharing with us:-)
