LH First missing my luggage for a week now
Thanks to your great reports & tips on LH First , i decided to give it a try for a trip to France to visit Family & Friends. Used my Aeroplan miles for the flights.
All in all were great, from the Limo to the Day room to the Caviar service. Except for the Bags!!!
Last Wednesday September 30th on my return leg, I flew CDG-FRA-IAD in LH First with a 4 hours connection in FRA.
When arrived in IAD, I was advised my bags did not make it. The day after, one bag was retrieved.
But they were unable to locate the second bag (with all my shopping: fragrances, chocolate, champagne to name a few). And here we are, a week later with LH agents having no idea whatsoever where my bag is.
I’ve called the Baggage Lost & found call center numerous times. The agents in Germany referred me each time to North America Call center. The NA call center can’t help me more. The IAD team are unhelpful ( Kudos though to the efforts of Nassem from that team). They send telex, messages, but are unable to talk to each other directly. What should i do???? I’m desperate and appalled by the handling of the situation. What is my recourse ? Is someone here able to contact someone at LH? How come a First Class bag is unable to be locate??? Thank you all for your help!!!
