LH F not showing up on Aeroplan

LH F not showing up on Aeroplan

Have searched around on the blogs, FT, AskLucky and not seen this issue recently.

Am trying to book a LH F seat using Aeroplan. On the route I’m looking at (FRA to southeast asia), Aeroplan website only shows availability on 1 day of the 7-8 days available on ExpertFlyer/United in the next 2 weeks (and of course not the one day I need)

Is this a common issue? Can it be solved by booking on the phone?

Did you try calling to see if the agents could see the space?

Did you search the single segment by itself? If so, sometimes they can see it if you call.

Lufthansa does have married segment restrictions that the United website (and thus ExpertFlyer) doesn’t do a great job of filtering out. We’ve found that the easiest solution is just to call — Aeroplan agents are generally fantastic.

Yes and yes. Searched for the single segment and it doesn’t show up on the website. SQ agents were able to see the seat available, but when I called Aeroplan, they were not. Didn’t think this had been an issue in a couple years, but maybe Aeroplan isn’t getting access to all seats again?

Interestingly, if I search from Munich, the flight will show with MUC-FRA-X but NOT as a single segment. Any way to solve for that?

Several agents later, they were able to find the flights very easily. Thanks!
