Le Premiere from LAX
Hi Ben! After your great reviews of Air France Le Premiere, I bought 2 tickets to Paris departing from LAX and returning to JFK. A couple of questions: 1. Are the perks of Le Premiere at LAX similar to what I will experience at CDG? How is the lounge (Korean Air?), getting through security, transportation to the plane (by luxury car in CDG)? Does Air France provide complimentary transportation to/from airport in LA or Paris? (as Emirates does). Merci!
Korean Air’s lounges kinda suck. If you dont mind the trek/have time, you’re probably better off going to a Delta lounge. You’ll have to make time to pass thru security twice. I’m not sure if you’ll be escorted thru security at LAX – cant hurt to ask though.
If you’re connecting in Paris, you’ll be driven from your arriving flight to the lounge and then on to your connecting flight. I’m not entirely sure what happens of you originate/terminate in Paris.
They do not offer complimentary transportation anywhere.
Originating at LAX, you should be able to take a bus from Terminal 2 or 3 to the Tom Brady Int’l terminal that Air France flies from (I was able to for my connection to Virgin Australia). That’d mean only clearing security once

*Tom Bradley (Brady’s not that famous in aviation circles! :p)
I believe Air France actually have an agreement with Qantas to use the Qantas F Lounge in LAX. I think they recognised that the Korean Air lounge wasn’t very Premiere…
While the AF website mentions the Korean lounge;

Australian website Ausbt review of the QF LAX F lounge does mention AF F passengers having access:
Air France first class passengers, by special arrangement between Air France and Qantas.
