Latest on Iberia “Promo of the Year”?

Latest on Iberia “Promo of the Year”?

@Lucky and @Tiffany and all those of you with (aged) Iberia+ accounts I am very happy that you have received your Avios as hopefully the rest of us will as well. That said, based on the comments it seems that many of us remain in an uncertain purgatory as to when/whether we will ever see any bonus Avios. I and a few others are particularly concerned because when we signed up for Iberia+ we got error messages that caused us to reenter our info. Unbeknownst to us we inadvertently created duplicate accounts (because despite the error message the first attempt apparently went through). Having used the second account to book tickets I now have 10 tickets under an Iberia + # that has been shut down as a duplicate. Iberia has been very friendly in helping me verify and unlock the “first” account but has given me no consistent or actionable information despite many calls and emails as to whether or when or if they will transfer my flights over from the “second” account # and whether or when or if I have a prayer of getting any Avios despite my doing everything I could to follow their terms. Note that I did not make any additional bookings on the “first” account. My flights are still showing the second (deactivated) account # and the field is locked to changes online. Any advice, suggestions, insights or thoughts on how this will play out for us would be greatly appreciated. I am quite sure I am not the only one in this position as the website apparently had many problems. Just getting Iberia reps to understand what happened, let alone do something about it, feels like a herculean task.
