Kris flyer vs star alliance

Kris flyer vs star alliance

  1. Jeanne New Member

I have been traveling on Singapore air for the last five years every summer and accrued Kris flyer miles. My question is – is it best to apply my miles towards star alliance or Kris flyer if I want to use those miles to fly to other places in the future? Which will give me more flexibility and be a better deal for me?

Hi Jeanne. So there is no formal “exclusive star alliance” frequent flyer program. Accumulating your points to kris flyer builds your star alliance and SQ status, but there is no actual star alliance frequent flyer program. Now that being said, do you mean to ask if there is a better star alliance airline’s frequent flyer program to credit your miles to rather than SQ?
