JFK-FRA-SIN SQ Suites

JFK-FRA-SIN SQ Suites

    Hey everyone!

I have been digging around the forums and trying to get concise information, but it’s been hard…Figured a new thread couldn’t hurt, and thanks in advance for the info and help!

We are flying in Suites JFK-FRA-SIN (award booking for 2 made a year ago!)

Have a few questions about transit and lounge access…

    1) To confirm, there is still access to the Virgin Clubhouse at JFK for lounge access before our departing flight?

    2) In Frankfurt, looking for a shower! Hoping everyone can provide a recommendation of the best lounge to go to for taking a quick shower during our 2 hour layover. Our #1 priority is being able to take a quick shower.

Also, we will be landing Singapore and have a small layover before continuing on our next flight SIN-DPS on Singapore airlines, but on a different reservation (and in economy)….Will anyone in Frankfurt be able to help us obtain our boarding passes for that flight, so we have them in hand when we land in Singapore and don’t have to deal with it then?

    3) In Singapore…What lounges are available and recommended for arriving passengers that were in Suites? Specifically, if a shower isn’t available in Frankfurt, we would love to take a quick shower in Singapore when we arrive.

Also, if we can’t obtain our boarding pass in Frankfurt for SIN-DPS…Will the lounge in Singapore be able to provide that to us, or do we have to visit a transit desk before heading to the lounge?

Again thank you in advance for the help and advice!!

1 – According to SQ’s website, you will be able to access the Virgin Clubhouse at JFK

2 – On the same website, it states that you can use the LH Senator and Business lounges at FRA and they do contain showers. Make a note of where they are and find you way by following signs.

3 – For Star Alliance carriers, lounge access is based on your departing flight and therefore you wouldnt have lounge access in SIN. Do you have Priority Pass? That would give you access to some lounges in SIN

At JFK check-in, let the agent know that you have a separate ticket for SQ SIN-DPS. They coulld be able to check you in, issue a boarding passes and check your bag all the way thru. If not, the lounge staff in FRA might be able to provide you with a boarding pass. Otherwise you will need to stop by an SQ transfer desk at SIN.

At FRA, you’ll be escorted to the LH lounge (it’s pretty close to the gate). Yes the lounge has showers.

At SIN we were able to use the Private Room when arriving in Suites and departing at night in business. I would just present your suites boarding pass and play it by ear.
