JetBlue Point Match using Flexperks points

JetBlue Point Match using Flexperks points

Recently, I took the JetBlue point match challenge and was condtionally approved for 75K JetBlue points if I took a round trip by end of Aug 2016 (credit: Onemileatatime, Godsavethepoints, and TPG). I never flew Jetblue before, but I plan to do an affordable, round trip from JFK to anywhere that is within the same day travel near the end of August. Curiosity made me post the idea to use my Flexperks points to purchase a round trip with JetBlue, but do not really know if Jetblue will accept this as qualification for completing the challenge. I tried to read the fine prints on the JetBlue point match challenge, but have yet to see any language addressing the redemption of credit card reward points as a disqualification of said challenge..or did I misread it! More than likely, I will just pay with a credit card for the round trip to avoid any major disappointment, but it is always good to know if using Flexperks points (or Chase UR, Amex MR, Citi ThankYou, points, etc.) can qualify for these type of challenges. Any suggestions are appreciative.

Are you asking about using Flexperks points to pay for the ticket? If that’s the case you should be fine because to JetBlue it appears to have been purchased with cash/credit card.
