JAL Cant see EK award space

JAL Cant see EK award space

Looking for EK award space from DAC – ORD which is available on Alaska website. Wondering if city pair availability is showing no space DAC-DXB. JAL rep said DXB-ORD is available however.

Should JAL rep do a long search or are some EK routes not available to JAL??

Sometimes the Alaska site gives a false positive on connecting flights. Did you check ExpertFlyer? Or one of us can check for you if you give us the dates.

Well, any date in Feb. Dac-dxb-jfk/bos/ord. Maybe 13 Feb
    Appreciate it 🙂

Alaska will also show a certain class available when one leg isn’t in premium class that was requested. I especially like when it shows 200k for first and the international part is in coach while an Alaska connection is in first. Watch out for the seat icon. The mobile app has nothing to warn you. Never book on mobile app.

It’s definitely possible, even online, so I don’t think it’s a city-pair issue. The availability I see matches ExpertFlyer.
I would just play around with the dates, searching each segment separately, then use the multi-city tool to book. No need to call.

Ok, but trying to use jal miles which has lower cost. Must call Jal to book EK but Jal rep can’t see space dac-dxb.

Right, but it’s the same on ExpertFlyer — every flight I checked matched.

It might be because it’s a mixed cabin? Make sure they’re searching for business class, but it’s not a restriction on the Emirates side as far as I can tell.
