Is SSSS airport specific?

Is SSSS airport specific?

I am curious, I have been being screened for quite some time although I have a Nexus card. Recently I got SSSS on my boarding pass. Now I have just realized it is only done when I am leaving Halifax International. I have returned from Ireland and Tampa without being stopped at all.

I dont believe it is – it’s supposed to be random. If this is the one and only time you’ve gotten it, I wouldnt worry much about it. If you’ve gotten it more than once, it’s worth looking into. Lucky wrote a few posts about SSSS
