Infant Award using Krisflyer miles
I booked an award ticket using krisflyer miles, flights are operated by swiss and united. I need to book my son who is under 2 as a lap child. Singapore is saying call swiss and swiss is saying call singapore.
What do i do? anyone have experience?
Ugh, this is [I]the worst process in the world.

Singapore can’t issue tickets for infants on other carriers, apparently, so you will in fact have to have Swiss issue them. The most efficient way we’ve found to do this is conference call both carriers to avoid the back and forth.
Ugh i literally am going crazy.. 2 hours back and forth each throwing me back onto the other. I will try conferencing them together but i had a swiss supervisor tell me they cant do anything and same with singapore.

Yeah, I actually went to the airport ticketing office in an attempt to have it issued. Getting them to talk to each other is key.

I happened to be at jfk today to renew my global entry and tried to do that but it was closed.
Oh, I wasn’t successful at the airport — that’s just where I got 100% confirmation that SQ can’t do it.
